You are a unique energy signature, a powerful force that affects every room you enter. Be aware of this when you bring your mood and attitude where ever you go. Love is the most powerful energy in the world, and when you carry it with you, it fills the atmosphere. Just as you fill up your car with gas for a journey (or charge up your battery if you drive an EV) fill your mind with joyful, loving thoughts when you leave your home, and consciously project the energy of love wherever you go.  Become a conscious creator of your reality and watch miracles happen.

It is said that anger is fear expressed. What do we fear? We fear that someone will do something to us that will make us feel bad, something that will cause us physical pain or emotional pain, by making us feel as if we are unworthy of love. This is the pain we carry and pass on to our children in the form of anger. Women need love. When we love ourselves and have compassion for each other, we can  form bonds of sisterhood and support, and we can heal the pain in our children. This is the female solution.

As a delegate to the 2018 Commemoration of the World Alliance of Religions for Peace global summit meeting in Seoul, South Korea, I was astounded to discover that a very organized movement for the cessation of war is spreading across the world. After being welcomed by enthusiastic crowds as we entered Incheon Stadium for the main event, I have no doubt that we will see society transformed by the efforts of dedicated youth who are working to create a world of peace and to bring an end to war.

We have broadcast live from London, Japan and now South Korea, attending the Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL) commemoration event. Peace activists from around the world were celebrated for their successes in bringing diverse communities together for cooperation and harmony in addressing and resolving our collective challenges. Youth are very much a part of this strategic gathering of members of the religious and business community to initiate programs that work.

Rev. Dr. Lincoln Scott's Hope House of Prayer presents a model of what can grow out of a heartfelt desire to help those who are in distress. The homeless suffer from the outdoor elements all year around, but particularly in the winter it is devastating to live out in the cold. Dr. Lincoln Scott provided shelter, a meal, and inspirational teachings that helped the homeless transform their lives. Many expressed gratitude that someone cared enough to offer a helping hand in a time of desperation.  We can all change the lives of others in need if we simply choose to care.

Knowledge is power, and all the information our youth need to achieve their dreams is right at their fingertips.  A book, whether a hard copy or a digital version, provides the key to opening a mind to unlimited possibilities. Words that touch the heart have the power to inspire and transform.  These high school students at DLA have chosen to share a motivational message,  using words with a bit of rhythm and rhyme, to convince their peers to seize the power in their own hands. All they have to do is READ!

Unity in Diversity host Azaka Ajanaku interviews Naimah Latif about the proposal for polygyny as a way to address the crises of absent fathers, as presented in her book The Female Solution. He discusses the Islamic permission for men to marry multiple wives and how it differs from his Catholic upbringing. Magda Desir, host of The Magda show, describes the difficulties young women face trying to find suitable mates when so many young men grew up without fathers in the home.
